Anand Raghuraman leads EY’s Consumer Products & Retail strategy group.
He has extensive experience in developing and implementing innovative organic and inorganic growth strategies for retailers, consumer goods companies and financial sponsors. His expertise includes corporate and growth strategy development, organization design, process design, and in-market implementation.
Anand has a deep international (Asia, Australia, Europe, Americas) experience base and network.
Prior to E&Y, he ran a consulting firm which served PE funds and retailers. He was formerly the SVP Strategy at Ross Stores ($12+B revenues with 1,400+ stores), where he served the CEO and Chief Merchandising Officer. Prior to Ross, he was a Partner at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where he led the Indian retail practice. Prior to BCG, he was a Partner at Kurt Salmon Associates (KSA) and was in the Strategic Services Group for AT Kearney.
He has an MA in Applied Economics from the University of Michigan and an MS in Industrial Engineering & Management Sciences from the Eindhoven University of Technology (the Netherlands).
Anand is fluent in English, Dutch and Tamil and has a basic knowledge of German.
