Brian is an investor/advisor to multiple FinTech, AdTech, and publishing companies from Wall Street to Silicon Valley.
He is the founder of several startups, including Alister & Paine Magazine which provides branded content solutions to companies like Ferrari, Rolls Royce, St. Regis, Hublot, and WePay.
Previously, Aitken built a $24MM paid media division for Ketchum—the world’s oldest PR firm with clients ranging from Hewlett Packard to MasterCard.
He attended Rutgers University as an undergraduate, received his Executive Education from the NYU Stern School of Business, was granted a scholarship for ‘Exceptional Entrepreneurship’ to the Manchester Business School’s Global MBA Program, and has been an annual guest at nearly all of MIT’s Initiative on the Digital Economy events. As of 2017 he has accepted an advisory role with the Rutgers University Design Thinking Certificate Program.
In addition to the above, Aitken serves as the Vice President of Social Strategy for Assembly—a three year old media company grossing $4.5 Billion in spend this year alone, with clients like E*Trade, Truth, 20th Century Fox, Timberland, 1-800 Contacts, and WordPress.
